Why Web-Based Writing is Still a Good Bet For Making Money (With No Start-up Costs)

Earn Income Via Web-Based Writing
Why Web-based writing? With a new year in front of us, most of us are taking stock and thinking about how to increase our earnings this year. This post discusses why web-based writing is still a good bet for earning money, with no start-up costs.

Daily, you hear reports of some enterprising entrepreneur who has hit pay-dirt and is earning unbelievable amounts from his blog or website. Oh, if it were just that easy. For most people, merely setting up a blog or a website does not translate into dollars. In fact, with so many competing sites out there, these new sites are pretty much dead in the water. And on top of everything else, hosting, themes and plug-ins chew up any or most of the profits.

It's easy for skilled Internet marketers to instruct that paid hosting is the only "bird that flies," claiming it is the best route to making money. This is true, and certainly, those who know what to do can earn money from their hosted sites. The general public, though, who may not have the foggiest as to what steps to take to earn real money online and will likely spin their wheels while watching all the related costs of a website or blog adding up.

If you are determined to make money online but are not yet ready to bite the bullet and sign away a portion of your income on monthly charges, web-based writing is a legitimate and real method of earning money without having to pay start-up costs. (Even post-Panda it is still a means of doing so.)

If you Can Create Web-Based Articles, You Can Earn Money for Your Efforts. How?
  • Register--Register with high-ranking established sites that share monthly revenue with you. See my listing above for revenue sharing sites.  You want to target sites that attract lots of visitors each month.
  • Write--Create 250-500-word web articles (payment is usually issued each month)
  • Arrange for Payment--Sign up for a free PayPal account and link your bank account to it. You will receive your most of your payments via PayPal and can transfer these over to your bank so that you have funds at the ready. This is incredibly convenient.
If you are unsure as to how to get started or how to actually create web-based articles, take the time to read through each site's writing tutorials. These offer a wealth of helpful and free information that will guide you to create good quality online articles, how to keyword optimize them, and how to generate traffic to these.

Is there a learning curve? Certainly, but, if you want to earn income online (without spending a dime), writing for the web is one of the best and fastest ways to get started.

Money-Making Tip: Register for free-to-join sites, write and submit regularly, earn from your web-based writing.
