New Facebook Page Proving Popular

The new Facebook page is drawing comments, views and followers! This is encouraging as it gives us all a chance to help one another, network, forge friendships, swap links, promote our writing and all the other good stuff that an online writing page/community can accomplish.

I liked the idea of a Facebook Group because when users are logged into Facebook and part of a group and a discussion is happening, a box pops up, but--and here's the big BUT, Facebook Groups do not have the power of Facebook Pages. A FB Page, at least right now, stands a better chance of going out virtually and has greater reach.

In my last post, I included links to articles that discuss the crucial differences between Facebook Pages and Groups. It would be great if sometime in the Future, Facebook allowed for that pop-up box for Pages. However, that said, the new Facebook Write and Earn a Living Page is sparking comments and links, as I had hoped it would.
