Do You Earn Daily Ad Revenue?

Like coins in the quintessential pot of gold, daily ad revenue is bread and butter for online writers.

If you are a seasoned freelancer, you already know a few tricks of the trade and, no doubt, you earn ad revenue on a daily basis; if your are transitioning to writing online, your ad revenue may not be as lucrative as you would like; if you are a newbie, your revenue likely trickles in, in a hit and miss, haphazard fashion.

Whatever the scenario, I'll bet most of you check what you make each day. This can become somewhat compulsive.

Many of us would never dream of writing an online article without first doing keyword research and then creating that article optimized around our chosen keywords. But once we do that, is our work done? Not by a long shot.

Daily Ad Revenue
If you are anything like me, you may spend time each day tweaking your published content to make it that much stronger. If you aren't doing this, you should be. And this tweaking should also involve your opening paragraphs. Why?

One of the best ways to increase your chances of earning daily ad revenue is to study the placement of ad blocks as they appear across your published pages. Now, while one has little control over content-targeted ads that appear on content sites that are monetized for same, one may be able to structure articles--and in particular, opening paragraphs--to manipulate where these ad blocks appear.

Sometimes simply adding another paragraph or two or dropping a photo downwards can mean that the first ad block appears near the top, rather than lower down.

As the old saying goes, you only have once to make a first impression. If your goal is to earn daily ad revenue, it is worth your time to make small changes so that ad blocks appear in optimal positions in your online content.

Recap: study your online articles and note where the first ad blocks appear. Go in and make changes and republish, than see if you've influenced ad block placement.
