While the same basic styling rules hold true: subheads, shorter paragraphs, bullets, text broken into easily read chunks, savvy writers are rethinking their web content.

Ad Position--no matter which site you write for, make a careful scrutiny of ad position and experiment with formatting your text so that ads appear "above the fold." Determine if multiple text boxes or paragraphs separated by a header make a difference to where ads appear on your pages.

Studies demonstrate that Internet readers scan pages in particular patterns. You can make your online articles more profitable by ensuring that ads. appear in strategic locations.
