How to Build Writing Income

Would you like to build writing income?

Earning income from writing is a dream come true for many aspiring writers. The thought of actually being paid for your words is tantalizing. How do you make it all happen?

In today's post, I'm going to discuss building residual or passive income. This is ongoing monthly earnings from writing.

It pays to give thought as to how you want your writing career to develop. Now, some people prefer one-off writing payments--writing jobs where they do the work and are paid upon completion. In yesterday's post, I mentioned that a new feature of Write and Earn a Living will be postings of writing jobs I come across. Now, certainly, this is one route to follow and you gain insights and additional skills by learning how to write for others.

Building Writing Income
Many of us, after gaining the necessary experience by obtaining and successfully completing writing jobs, desire to take things a step further. We work a number of opportunities on a regular basis and see our monthly earnings growing. To what end? To build ongoing writing income. It's a wonderful feeling to see earnings coming in month after month. The questions begs to be answered, how do you do this?

The key rests in finding legitimate paying opportunities--sites that share revenue with their writers each month. Fortunately, in recent years, content site administrators have seen the value of sharing revenue with their writers. Writers who are:
  1. willing to work hard . . .
  2. willing to produce quality, content-rich articles . . .
  3. willing to do the necessary leg-work to promote those articles . . .
CAN build writing income that comes in month after month.
