I don't create as many paid blog posts as I did previously. I don't have time available these days and, as well, in the wake of a decrease in blog page rankings associated with sponsored posts, I've steered clear of paid blogging overall.
I recently wrote about Vertical Blogger at Write and Earn a Living and the other day, I did indeed create a post. I found the process straight forward and had created a post in minutes for one of my other blogs.
The pay rate offered seems decent and I may continue in future, depending on the opportunities offered and the impact on blog PR.
Bloggers simply enter their blogs into the Vertical Blogger line-up and are offered posts depending on their blog's ranking and other factors.
One piece of information I failed to find was the word count for posts. I did read somewhere that it was between 200-300 words. Armed with that information, I created a couple of paragraphs and my post was accepted.
I found Vertical Blogger easy to use and even though it's early days yet, feel it may be something that freelancers might be interested in.

Hi, I've been a member of Vertical Blogger since late last year, but unfortunately the only campaigns I am ever offered suggest that I write something about Scotland. As I only ever write about destinations outside London that I'm actually in, and I have no intention of going north of the border this year, I don't imagine I'll be writing anything for them anytime soon...
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteThe posts one is offered depend on the blog and its subject matter.
For those who have a number of blogs, their chances might be somewhat better, depending on what advertisers need.
