Good Reasons for Joining Xomba

Excellent reasons for joining Xomba . . . $$$$$ $$$ $$$$$$ $$ $$$$ $$ $$$$ $$$ $$$

Hello Everyone. In today's post, I'll detail why I feel Xomba is a good opportunity for writers.

Are you at a place in your writing where you are looking to "work smarter and not harder"? Many freelancers start out writing for article sites but find the lackluster payment discouraging. When this undertaking grows thin, writers look at other ways to earn income.

Good Reasons for Joining Xomba

  • Xomba offers just such an opportunity. You create short blurbs and bites AND you can use these to point/link to your articles. What an excellent method of promotion!
  • On top of that, you earn residual income from your blurbs and bites.
By now, you can see why this is a win-win scenario. As writers, we work hard to promote our articles across the Internet. It makes sense to get paid for doing something we do as a matter of course.

I had heard of Xomba but held off because my writing schedule is already so full. I always find there are never enough hours in the day; however, after reading through the income testimonials at Xomba, I decided I simply had to buy out the time.

Joining Xomba
  • If you join Xomba, you'll need to include your AdSense ID exactly as instructed so that you get paid. Do not be discouraged if earnings fail to materialize out of the starting gate. Work at it regularly and you will see an upswing in your AdSense earnings.
  • Try to submit blurbs daily and bites weekly
  • Xomba earnings can become substantial over time.
This is one of the most promising sites I've seen to date. Three thumbs up!

Beware Poetry Scams

????????? ????????? ???????????????

Beware of Poetry Scams: Poets should be paid upon publication, not pay to see their work in print.

??????????

???????

??????

???

?

One author received glowing praise for his work and became suspicious. He decided to test a questionable poetry contest, suspecting that most, if not all, of what was sent in was accepted for publication.

He discovered the contest was window dressing for a vanity publisher--with a perfect cash cow: capitalize on the hopes and dreams of would-be poets by charging them to see their poems in print . . .

Creating a Facebook Business Page That Advertises Your Writing

Hello Everyone!

This past week, I wrote an article about creating a Facebook business page. This is an excellent method, utilizing web advertising to further your writing objectives.

As you can see over on the right, I've created a page around the Bedbug book series and the page links to the Bedbug blog. So, visitors can access any number of pages about Bedbug.

You can create a unique presence on Facebook and put your information and latest updates in front of millions of viewers.

Facebook business pages are interactive. This means is that visitors engage in a number of activities when visiting your Facebook page. You can showcase your writing, including your latest articles, adding your author news, announcing book releases and related events. Facebook business pages even allow for video clips. What a way to add a personal touch!

Even better, those who want to take things to the next level have the option of using Facebook ads to drive traffic to their pages.
