Make Money Online: 5 Easy Tips On Making Money On Hubpages

I came across a page today that I was impressed with.

The author, Adil, discusses SEO and gives valuable insights about where writers and others can find SEO Books Free Keyword Tool as well as a Keyword Density Analyzer (which I will be using).

He then talks about bookmarking and offers tips about a site called Onlywire that will submit your pages to 25 sites, which would prove to be a real time-saver.

The page caught my eye and I decided to give it a look--and I'm glad I did. The author offers practical and usable tips that should help those who create HubPages and other online content to increase their page views.

Thanks for sharing these insights, Adil!

Chosen for the First Guest Blogger at Articlesbase

I was very pleased that I was contacted by Articlesbase and asked if I would include an excerpt of my article: Article Ideas: Using Who, What, Why, Where, When to Spark Inspiration.

I recently started writing short articles for Articlesbase because I liked the site offerings: long-term exposure for and traffic generation to my other online articles.

Articlesbase allows for linking to a writer's other Internet-based articles, as well as an author bio. This appealed, because the idea of an article, working away in the background for me, once I had done the initial work, made sense.

Articlesbase is a free directory, where interested parties search for articles to use on their websites, in newsletters, on blogs, etc. With the number of Internet sites growing daily, the need for content has never been greater.

Writers can capitalize on this trend by writing articles for Articlesbase, which are then picked up and distributed across the Internet. If these articles contain links to the writer's other articles, the traffic generation potential is unlimited--and it continues for years because articles are never taken off the Articlesbase site.

I liked the sound of that because I find that much of my work is geared to an online audience. While I still have my finger in print opportunities, I also create much online content.

"All things work together for good," as the saying goes. Articlesbase offers a practical service to site owners looking for fresh content and allows writers to send readers to their published works at sites where they earn for page views and/or ad clicks.

I get asked so often from newer bloggers how to get started with blogging. Most newer bloggers find the whole process confusing and are foggy as to how to set up their blog and how to go about getting their blog noticed.

  • You should think about blog directories
  • You should think about trackbacks
  • You should be linking to your blog at every opportunity
  • You should consider whether you want to monetize your blog so that your earn for your efforts
These are just some of the things I cover in Blogging Basics: 15 Steps to Get Your Blog Noticed

I compiled 15 steps to help newer bloggers to get their feet wet

These 15 steps are important and should be implemented when setting up a blog.

Web Content Writing

The last month has been very busy for me. I've spent most of my time involved in Web content writing so I haven't had many opportunities to post to this blog. This is a situation I am striving to rectify.

I have upped my efforts in relation to Web content writing because I believe this is the way of the future. While content writing for the Web is different from writing for print magazines, once mastered, it can be an enjoyable and lucrative method of writing for extra income or for a living.

Increasingly, writers are turning to the Internet for inspiration and employment. Web content writing is a natural fit in tune with their abilities and with the times. In fact, in today's challenging economic climate, writers have an edge: they can use their skills when looking for employment opportunities.

In today's post, I'm including resources for writers who want to get into Web content writing or who are seeking additional content writing opportunities that are only found on the Web.

After I announce the winning author, I will post an article announcing the 10 authors who also attracted a large readership.
