Writing for Triond: How Much Can you Make?

The other day, I came across a blog posting where the writer mentioned that he had made $.25 writing for Triond.

I found this surprising.

While it does take some time, you can earn far more for your efforts when writing for Triond.

Most article writers implement certain steps to drive traffic to their work. It is no different when submitting content to Triond.

Triond makes the process easier by including 34-36 bookmarking buttons, Feeds that you can use in other places to detail 5 of your Triond articles, and Total Article Earnings so that you can see which articles are performing well.

How Much can you Make Writing for Triond?
I'm often asked this question. A number of factors come into play: content popularity, keyword optimization, readers, etc.

However, I can share with you some of my totals--earnings on each article, so far; to give you a solid idea as to what to expect.

$18.25
$10.52
$10.06
$9.56
$4.13

Now contrast this against the article mills where you are paid $2.00-5.00 per 500 word article. With Triond, you are paid more and those earnings are ongoing--not a one time laughable payment.

What types of articles can you write for Triond? There are many categories you can choose from. Really, your imagination can be your guide.

Triond Facelift

Triond has undergone a facelift and the changes make writing for them an even greater pleasure.

Features that writers will find particularly helpful are the "Comments" and "Liked it" in the Dashboard section. This will help writers to plan future articles because they can get a handle on what topics resonate with readers.

Under the Content tab, you can access "Total Earnings" per article. This is a great resource because, at a glance, writers can see how an article is performing. Looking at the different article categories I've submitted, I now have a better idea of the kind of articles that net greater earnings.

I also appreciate the "Explore" tab because I can check out published content to determine whether crafting a similar article is worthwhile or whether the subject has been covered. If you are researching a particular subject, you may find timely information on it by reading what others have written.

Triond's facelift gives writers more options than ever and is a friendly, flexible interface, when you want to publish and earn by writing articles online.

Writing for Children

Do you have a children's story that you would like to see published? Breaking into the children's writing market can be a hard climb. In fact, it's much harder than it looks.

Fictional themes tend to rehash the same insights over and over. To make your story stand out, it has to offer something that isn't already detailed in books filling miles of shelves, stories that may be cute or that teach lessons but that have been done to death.

When writing for children, remember that kids are emotional creatures and like to feel something when they read. What emotions can you evoke that they can relate to? Kids like stories that speak to them, that are funny, scary, or portray the world at their level.

One only has to look at The Cat in the Hat and how kids (and "big kids") loved it. They related. Children want a world that's silly, exciting, one that pushes boundaries.

You, as the author, have to write a story that justifies the cost a publisher will spend in the process of taking it from manuscript to bookstore.

Writing Articles

Writing articles can be an easy process, once you've got the basics nailed.

One trick that helps to shape your article is to ask yourself questions about your subject.

For example, if you are writing an article about, say, coral, you could start by asking your self 10-15 questions about it.

What is the scientific name for coral?
Are there different types of coral?
Where does coral grow?
At what depth does it grow?
How long does it live?
How hard is it?
What can it be used for?
Is it endangered?
What factors impact on coral reefs?
Where could someone travel to, to see coral?
Are there coral exhibits?
What has coral been used for?
Does coral play a role in any cultural tradition?
Is there interesting coral lore?
What spectrum of colors can be found in coral?

Once you have a list of questions, you will see just how interesting your particular subject can be.

The next step is to decide which questions are important enough to answer and then to arrange these in logical order, one that a reader would naturally follow.

Once you've researched your questions and have the answers, you now embark on writing your article by arranging the material.

Using this simple technique, you will have the building blocks to write an interesting well-crafted article.

HubPages Affiliate Program

In previous posts I've discussed why HubPages is an easy-to-use platform to publish web pages on a variety of topics.

I've also detailed:
* How you can earn from advertising placed on your HubPages
* How you can earn by linking to others' HubPages
* How you can earn by referring others to HubPages

Today I want to discuss the last method, referring others to HubPages. Is it worthwhile?

Generate Income Referring Others to HubPages
You will notice new badges and banners on this blog advertising HubPages. If you have a blog and include a HubPage banner, when someone clicks on it and joins HubPages, you generate ongoing income. A badge or banner can sit on your blog and basically run in the background.

Now remember, this is ongoing revenue. The more people you refer, the greater the earnings. It's a revenue stream that keeps on growing. You set and forget it and watch things happen.

Is it really worth the effort? Each day I see increases in the income I'm earning through simply referring others to HubPages. Today I took a look. So far, I have 18 referrals who have created 453 HubPages, their pages have netted 10319 views, resulting in approximately $82.28. Each day this goes up!
