Writing for Suite 101

In a previous discussion, I mentioned that I had joined Suite 101 and I indicated I would keep readers up to speed about my experiences.

I thought Suite 101 looked like a good opportunity for writers because the site has a credible 10-year history. You have to be a published writer to make the cut and follow specific criteria to get your articles published via Suite.

To be honest, the tutorials were what sold me on writing for Suite 101. I've been producing keyword articles for the Internet for some time now and wanted to brush up on my SEO and keyword optimization techniques. Suite 101 provides editorial reviews and tutorials on writing for the Web. I thought that mentoring, coupled with exposure, was a win-win scenario.

Incidentally, Suite 101 is the Web's leading online publication for advice, opinion, and commentary, and is committed to building a network of trained, professional writers. For writers looking to boost credibility online and flesh out their resumes, this is an excellent opportunity.

So far, writing with Suite has been everything I expected. It takes time to build earnings but I'm approaching this as a long-term goal--just another writing project among many.

Suite also offers a widget you can place on your website or blog to increase interest in your articles. The widget conveniently directs readers to your articles.
